It's our anniversary today, 23 years.  We will celebrate with family tonight at Yancey House Restaurant.  Looking forward to it.
Well, yesterday, I drove up and picked up Jessie, brought her back for a walk.  first, I took Dixie.  We crossed the dam, heading for the woods on the other side of the lake.  I am always looking for various animal tracks.  As we were walking, I noticed one that resembled a small foot.  On closer look, I saw others as well.  Oh, geez, it was from a small bear, I was certain.  We returned home and I checked what I had seen with images on the Internet.  I was right. I tried to get Richard to go see them with me last evening but he wanted to wait.  Now, it has rained and the tracks may be gone.  Darn!  Anyway, I have ordered bear pepper spray and will wait until it arrives to go walking again.  Hopefully, this guy is only passing through.
                                                                                                            

Oh dear, it's scary to think that you may have been in danger of a Mama bear & cubs near by. I'm thankful you didn't go in search of the track makers. I agree, bear deterrent would be a wise thing for you carry with you on your walks. You never know when you may need it... Be careful, my friend.
